Chinatown. To celebrate this special event we’ve got some big specials for this years Oktoberfest. We will kick off
with oru traditional legendary Opening Party on September 1 6 and will celebrate 6 long weeks of Bavarian
shenanigan, authentic food and great imported Oktoberfest Bier from Germany! We have secured some specials
brews from Bavaria and Austria for you and you can win FREE BIER FOR A WHOLE YEAR! What? JA!

Kicking off with a BANG our Opening Party will run from noon in the restaurant with
the traditional keg tapping and Stein carrying (lunch time only). Bands will play all day and after 4pm the party continues up in the Alpine Bar and Bier Hall.

Hofbräuhaus Melbourne is looking for two Champions of our traditional Stein Carrying Competition! The winner of the female and male Stein carrying competition will get onefree 300 ml Bavarian Bier every timethey come to Hofbräuhaus Melbourne for an entire year! Yes that’s 365 free Biers! (must be 18 years of age. One 300ml Bier per Day – conditions apply)
BECOME THE DUKE OR DUCHESS OF HOFBRÄUHAUS (LUNCH TIME ONLY)
On our Oktoberfest Opening Party on September 16 we will crown the next Duke or Duchess of Hofbråuhaus! Our current Duchess Sabrina will hand over her reins and will crown the next
Duke or Duchess.
The winner will have the honour of tapping the Oktoberfest keg and also will receive a $300
voucher for the day! But iVs getting even better: a sgkcial traditional 1 Liter ceramic mug will be
stored at Hofbräuhaus. Every time your majesty enters the establishment of the Hofbrauhaus,
the mug will be filled with the best Bavarian Bier for your highness -for free! This will go on until
next years Oktoberfest! (one Bier per day)

Tuesday and Wednesdays
- Traditional Bavarian restaurant as per usual (no live music or entertainment) with great authentic food and imported Bavarian premium Bier
Thursday to Sundays
- Live music every Thursday to Sunday from 6:30pm.
- Bavarian competitons (Stein Holding, yodeling etc) to win free Bier for an entire year from Thursday to Sunday.
- Celebrate your birthday at Hofbrauhaus during Oktoberfest and you dine for free and your table will get a free Schnaps on the haus (T&Cs apply for groups of 6 or more, need to pre-book function package beforehand).
Saturdays
- From 4-5pm we give you Melbournes best Hour of Power! Everyone in traditional Bavarian dresses will only pay $4 for our range of premium imported tap Biers (330ml only in the Alpine Bar)
Special German Oktoberfest band
- On nine special nights we will give our Haus-Band a break and invite a special German Oktoberfest band in! "Die Oachkatzl Musi" – a sensational German Oktoberfest Band will be rocking the house, bringing you the most toe-tapping, Bier-raising oompah tunes you've ever heard!
