Enjoy our famous pork knuckle at home with this easy Bavarian step-by-step guide 

First things first: Organise a Bier, if you have ordered one from us it should be in your box. Open the Bier and PROST to your family, you imaginary friends and the knuckle

  1. Open the Bier and PROST to your imaginary friend on the sofa. 
  2. First you will need a small pot water no the stove (Simmer)
  3. Get a pan on with a small amount of oil to cover the bottom. (Medium Heat)
  4. Place you sausage in the water for about 4 min (Just to heat through)
  5. Quick sip of bier
  6. Drain off you sausage and pat them dry before you put them in the pan. (Hot oil and water should not be together) EVER!!!!!
  7. Place the sausage in the pan a slowly brown each side.(really need to make sure it has a great colour (This is flavour)
  8. Heat up your sauerkraut
  9. To plate, put the sauerkraut on the bottom and the Bratwurst on top.
  10. Serve with pickles, mustard and Bier
Bier Pairing: Pork meat comes best with dark Bier our recommendation would be a Arcobräu Schloss Dunkel or a Hofbräu Dunkel.
